The Pluckmin

The pluckmin are small plantlike creatures that work as a team to get various tasks done. They were on the brink of extinction until a man came from the stars and brought them back from their low spot. To show gratitude to their savior, the pluckmin gathered various treasures and parts for the man for him to bring back to his world. Once the man left, a while later he came back with more strange men, after that he came again, and again, until one day he came but they never saw him leave. They looked around for him but never found him, now able to fend for themselves they continue searching for valuables in hopes he returns to get them. . . where did he go?
